Dubai, UAE, 25-October 2018, among more than 60 entries for 2018 in the MIDDLE EAST WASTE & RECYCLING AWARDS (MEWAR AWARDS), the Food Banking Regional Network was crowned with the award category “ENVIRONMENTAL/CSRINITIATIVE OF THE YEAR”.
Led by an expert panel of key stakeholders ranging from corporate managers, environmentalists and sustainability experts , The MEWAR AWARDS is entitled to celebrate the success of organizations in the Middle East who adopt best practices in the environmental management and recognize those who demonstrated ethical, socially responsibility and are outstanding in their efforts to promote and follow sustainable business practices and therefore contributes to the vision of the region’s governments of a greener future and a circular economy.
By this honor, the Food Banking Regional Network is now celebrating its fifth award and recognition from the international community since its start-up operation on 2013 in Dubai. The CEO, Moez El Shohdi confirmed that “These awards are inspiring to us and confirms that organizations who are determined to achieve sustainability goals reap the fruit of their effort and at the same time acts as role model for others to follow.
